The community outreach fund is a Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce initiative that provides potential access to funding for approved individuals, groups, or projects that align with the mission and values of the Chamber. The Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce Community Outreach Committee reviews each application and has the discretion to fund or deny any request based on availability of funds. The maximum amount that can be requested per application is $500.00 annually. Approved Initiatives Community Partnerships Youth Organization Projects or Events Non-Profit Community Projects or Events
Eligibility Requirements Must be an organization or event located in Cottage Grove that falls under one of the categories above. We do have the ability to change our requirements at any time. The Cottage Grove Chamber's Community Outreach Committee meets once per month to review applications.
Cottage Grove Tourism Grant
Cottage Grove Tourism Commission’s (Travel Cottage Grove) purpose is to promote Cottage Grove by bringing attention to the “CG experience” through marketing and supporting our community groups/businesses who want to attract additional visitors and organize and promote local community events. We strive to provide unforgettable experiences for visitors andlocals, alike, fostering a sense of pride and connection to Cottage Grove. Cottage Grove’s Tourism commission, of Destination Cottage Grove, is entirely funded by hotel/motel tax revenue, not property tax dollars. The Tourism Committee meets monthly. Please submit application and any supporting documents no less than 60 days prior to Tourism Committee meeting. Any application submitted under 60 days may be considered for a smaller amount of funds.
The Village of Cottage Requires a Special Event Permit to be submitted. Please read the Special Event Manual prior to filling out the application for your event.
