Nutkrack is seeking a production and packaging employee for their manufacturing facility in Cottage Grove, WI.  Nutkrack makes the world's best candied pecans, and we are pretty certain we also employ the world's best humans. Come be one of them! Our ideal new colleague will be smart and self-driven, the type of person who finishes their assigned task early, and looks for the next thing to do without being asked.  While your first priority will be helping us make and package our amazing nuts, on any given day you might find yourself doing any of the million different things it takes to run a growing small business. Please do not apply if you want to come in, do the work and walk out the door having done the same thing day in and day out.  We're not that kind of place.  We need people who are driven by constant improvement, documenting and adhering to processes, thorough communication, and the active desire to learn and grow. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, good basic math skills, be self-motivated and able to multitask a wide range of duties.  Duties will include setup for production, learning the intricacies of making Nutkrack and its flavored cousins, Firekracker and Everything, cleanup and moving product, packaging tasks, and other duties as needed. Willingness to do what is needed when it's needed is an expectation. High drive, sense of urgency, and good organizational skills are necessary. This position is full-time. Shifts run Monday through Friday, with varying start and end times.
